  • This is a link to my mate John Bolt's site www.fotos.demon. He's a talented photographer among a list of other skills, and his gallery is well worth a look. He talks for England in International competition.
  • Biker Dave (Biker Borg) helped me a lot when I first started to put this site together. His brand spanking (and very impressive) new site at BORG ZONE introduces himself and what he does. plus has a fascinating history of the nation of Wales and a hell of a lot of other stuff. He goes into more detail about the specific area of wales he lives in and illustrates it with a gallery of stunning photos he's taken.
  • Andy (Cossack) Hornsby also has been invaluable help, especially when the critical final tweaking was done just prior to my first ever up-load of this site. He is a talented expert in computers and related modern technology among other things and his own experimental site/s BlackArtz are worth visiting, but be warned, he has a very odd taste in motorcycles!
  • 100%Biker, a new British biker lifestyle magazine is in many ways a worthy successor to the late and lamented AWoL magazine. 100%s sister magazine SuperTwins is a classy British based Harley-Davidson and American Vee-Twin monthly. (I used to edit it) Their page isn't yet up and running, but as soon as it is, I'll put the link in.
  • Rik & Jatz run Jatz Patches, between them they have turned hand embroidered patches into a jaw-dropping artform, you just have to see what they can do, I do not have the space here to begin to tell you myself.Even better is that they are two of the nicest people I've ever met.
  • AWoL & Back Street Heroes magazines still do not have an official website despite the enormous organisation they're both part of now, however the people at Slingshot UK cover both mags semi-officially until MRN gets its shit together.
  • Two very classy motorcycle magazines I've worked for recently are MotoRetro (which concentrates on 'proper bikes') and Motorcycle Racer (which speaks for itself basically). Both mags were put out by Joolz Publishing in Stockport and feature really excellent websites which are well worth exploring. Pity they went down the pan!

  • Biker Dave pointed me in the direction of www.tucows.com. It's a dead useful resourse for free software downloads for Macs or PCs. And is also a great site to look at... in bits anyway.
  • Tucows led me to Aladdin Systems, where I was able to download their excellent Stuffit Expander for nothing.
  • Richard Hill translates www.welcome.pl a Polish Tourist info site. I've been in contact with him for months re. a forthcoming expedition me and some other local bikers are planning to Poland. He's a sound geezer by all accounts, but with a strange prediliction for mad Russian ex-army motorcycle combinations.
  • Cossack Andy just aimed me at www.microsoft.com/typography/free.htm which, as it implies, offers free truetype web fonts for both OS Macs and PCs. Groovy!... er. if that's your bag... man.
  • If you're up for it - BikerPubs.com, list a fairly good selection of, well, biker pubs actually. So far they're sticking to the British Isles.

This page is always being up-dated - e-mail your URL if you like this site and I'll shove it on.
